The lakes

Beccy and Dave were wonderful people. They are friends of my brothers and showed us around the 'hood. Couldn't have asked for nicer people. It is so strange seeing all the fences made out of stone! And the houses too! apparently there is quite a few restriction about building new houses and urban spread. Some towns are not allowed to go outside certain boundaries. So the quaint clusters of buildings are maintained. There is so much history around. Some Of the buildings have been around since before nz was settled! It gives historic a whole new meaning!
